Unusual Patterns of Skin Pigmentation and Depigmentation

Insulin toxicity and diabetes often cause skin lesions of various descriptions. The three photographs of the leg of a man show areas of both pigmentation and depigmentation. Note pigmentation loss in areas in close vicinity of blood vessels while skin in some other areas (upper leg close to the knee joint.
