Lemon juice turns milk sour. This is so because acids in a lemon juice turns milk sour. In diabetes, high blood sugar creates excess acidity in the blood which creates micro clots and micro-plaques in the circulating blood – it turns blood sour, so to speak. This is how diabetes sets the stage for heart attacks and strokes.
